President Tinubu Appoints New Permanent Secretaries to Boost Federal Civil Service

President Bola Tinubu has appointed eight new permanent secretaries to fill existing and anticipated vacancies across various states and geopolitical zones. This move marks the second batch of appointments under Tinubu’s administration, following the June 2024 appointment of eight permanent secretaries.
Newly Appointed Permanent Secretaries: Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State), Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State),_ Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State),_ Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State), Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State), Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State), Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State), Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State).
The appointments were made based on recommendations from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation after a thorough selection process. President Tinubu has urged the new permanent secretaries to bring commitment, diligence, and innovation to their roles.
This development comes after President Tinubu’s initial appointment of eight permanent secretaries in November 2023, which included Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji, and Rimi Nura Abba, among others.
