President Tinubu Offers Condolences to Jigawa Governor Over Mother’s Passing

President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi. The President’s message was conveyed through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Hajiya Maryam Namadi, a respected matriarch, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, and was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites in Kafin Hausa, the governor’s hometown.
President Tinubu praised Hajiya Maryam’s community service and encouraged her family to continue her philanthropic work, ensuring her legacy endures. He also urged Governor Namadi and his family to find solace in the good name she left behind.
This gesture demonstrates President Tinubu’s commitment to showing empathy and support during difficult times. The Jigawa State Governor is currently abroad on an official assignment in China.
