APC Affirms Makki Abubakar Yalleman for 2027 House of Representatives Election in Jigawa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially affirmed the candidature of Hon. Makki Abubakar Yalleman to contest for the Kaugama/Malam Madori Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections.
The affirmation exercise, conducted in line with the party’s nationwide directive for House of Representatives primaries and candidate affirmation, took place in Jigawa State with massive turnout from party supporters and stakeholders across the two local government areas.
Party members from various wards in Malam Madori and Kaugama unanimously endorsed Hon. Yalleman following a recent consensus arrangement that paved the way for his return bid to the National Assembly.
Speaking during the event, the APC State Primary Election Committee, represented by Adamu Garba (Chairman), Isah Usman (Secretary), and Ali Uba Gumel (Member), confirmed and officially affirmed Hon. Makki Abubakar Yalleman as the party’s candidate for the constituency ahead of the 2027 polls.
Addressing the large gathering, Hon. Abubakar Yalleman, who currently represents Kaugama/Malam Madori Federal Constituency and serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Police Affairs, expressed appreciation to the Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, APC stakeholders, and the people of the constituency for the confidence reposed in him to seek a third term in office.
Yalleman pledged continued commitment to effective representation and the delivery of democratic dividends to the people of Kaugama and Malam Madori.
In separate votes of thanks, the APC chairmen of Malam Madori and Kaugama local government areas, Tanko Garungabas and Shu’aibu Girbobo, commended party members for their unity, loyalty, and massive participation during the affirmation exercise.
Dignitaries at the event included the Chairman of Malam Madori Local Government, Hon. Salisu Sani Garungabas, the Chairman of Kaugama Local Government, Hon. Usman Masaki Dansule, and the member representing Kaugama Constituency in the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Sani Saleh Zaburan, among other party leaders and supporters.
